Hie there and welcome to Soccer Crunch and thank you very much for taking your precious time to visit this blog.We are almost at the end of 2018.A year that has been full of fantastic football action.
Fantastic for some soccer fans but disappointing for others.Well that's soccer....sometimes in football things do not go according to our expectations....but i hope those teams that disappointed this year will pull up their socks and give their fellow competitors a run for their money....and motivate their fans in their process.
It is never a good thing to support a losing team ,always having to hope that the next game will be different fro the last,only to be disappointing again.Other teams started their respective league's on a high note
only to drop form as time went on,a perfect example would be Manchester City, I really don't know what's happening in the "citizens" camp...or is it that karma has finally caught up with them, but whatever it is Pep Guardiola better fix it because Liverpool is running away with the EPL tittle.They started their 2018/19 campaign from where they left off last season only to lose form when it mattered the most.Now as it stands in the EPL it definitely looks like a two horse race
Then there is Liverpool.....who have played 19 games so far....won a massive 16 and drew just 3.Who does that? I think these statistics tell us a lot about this team,they are not in the mood for funny business are apparently out there to do massive harm to other teams in the EPL.Today they take on struggling Arsenal and if i were Unai Emery i would be shaking in my boots right now.... because this
season the mighty Anfield has turned into a battlefield that no other team in the EPL is likely to get out of alive.At Anfield,Liverpool does not take any prisoners....They have the one of the best coaches in the world JURGEN KLOPP,and an attack that can destroy any defense in the world right now, they boast off the high flying Mohamed Salah who is a destroyer of teams and the dribbling duo of Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.These three have been known to cause mayhem in soccer stadiums.Also their signing from Stoke City Xherdan Shakiri has added more fire power to their attacking arsenal.
What do you think is going to be the result today when these two titans meet..
I think the race is still on especially if Manchester City manage to regain their form....there is aslo Chelsea and Arsenal in the mix.So i would like to think that we are going to witness a tightly contested second half of the English Premiere League next year in 2019.
